Mentoring New Hunters
I learned to hunt as an adult and have found it to be a profoundly challenging and rewarding experience. I am passionate about supporting and mentoring other new hunters. I serve as the Committee Chair for the Wyoming Women's Antelope Hunt. As a mentor with the First Hunt Foundation I helped with a pronghorn hunt that was featured on Into the Outdoors.

Worland Community Garden
I founded the Worland Community Garden in 2015 on a vacant lot. We now grow 3000-4000 lbs of food per year for the community and were the inspiration for the Wyoming Hunger Initiative's Grow a Little Extra program.

Soil Management in Wyoming
I worked with the University of Wyoming Extension communications team to produce an interview series with farmers and ranchers in Wyoming. These videos feature producers committed to reducing tillage, planting cover crops, and building healthy soil.

Compost and Waste Management
I have worked on numerous compost projects ranging from municipal yard waste to livestock mortalities and biosolids. I also own a small business providing bulk compost to and mulch for local gardens and farms.

International Work
I have had the opportunity to work with farmers and students in Japan, Guam, Kosrae, and Belize. I have also helped host farmers from Lesotho in Wyoming. I have always enjoyed these connections and find that we can always connect around the common challenges of soil, water, and invasive species!
